Hummer
Hummer is a summer active tall fescue with high yield for all seasons. It can be used for different purposes in farming systems as it tolerates heavy, wet and moderately saline soils compared to perennial ryegrass. It demonstrates strong disease tolerance and high tiller density with a spreading growth habit, designed to match persistence expectations on dairy, beef and sheep farms. Hummer also has better heat tolerance, productivity and feed quality over summer compared to perennial ryegrass, whilst providing better water use efficiency under irrigation. Sowing rate: 20-25 kg/ha alone 15-25 kg/ha with clovers
