A new, quick establishing, earlier maturing sorghum x sudan hybrid containing the BMR gene. BMR Fuel is quick to first grazing with good digestibility and excellent regrowth. Suited to intensive grazing systems and silage production. Sowing rate: Dryland (300mm-450mm): 12-15 kg/ha High rainfall (650mm+) 20-25 kg/ha Irrigation (800mm+): 25-30 kg/ha
Maximus
Maximus is dual purpose so suitable for grain and silage, which gives growers flexibility. As silage it has an excellent grain to stover ratio, high digestibility, and very high MJ/ME to make high quality silage. Maximus has proven to be a popular variety in Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania Sowing rate: 80,000-100,000 plants/ha
BMR Octane
In comparison to Pacific BMR, this variety is longer in maturity (stays vegetative for longer) and has better establishment under marginal moisture conditions. It also shows slightly better drymatter production. Sowing rate: Marginal Dryland 3-5 kg/ha Good Dryland 5-10 kg/ha Irrigation/Coastal 15-20 kg/ha
