Shady Lawn Mix
Shady Lawn Mix is specifically designed for areas which are subject to shade and will perform well in these conditions. This mix has been trialled and it has shown that the species included will perform better in shaded areas. It is however important to remember that most shaded areas are caused by trees. The trees rob the soil of all of its goodness and nutrients. Therefore always be vigilant in applying fertiliser and moisture to these areas.

SPS Hardy Lawn Blend
Hardy Lawn Blend is a lasting mix with a high percentage of fine lawn grasses to give a nice thick lawn. As its name implies it is hardy and will withstand a lot of wear and tear. Hardy Lawn Blend is ideal for the active family who enjoy outdoor recreation on an attractive, tough lawn. Fast establishing and suitable for oversowing.
To maintain a thick healthy lawn a good heavy watering 1-2 times a week is recommended, especially during the hot dry summer periods. If left un-watered over summer the Hardy Lawn Blend will go dormant and brown off, but will quickly green up after rain. For best results a mowing height of 30mm should be achieved using a rotary mower.

SPS Oasis Lawn Blend
The Oasis (Watersaver) Lawn Blend is the newest in our range and was trialled and tested for three years before its released onto the lawn seed market. The turf fescue that is the predominant grass in this blend is deep rooted and drought tolerant. It has a very dark green colour and will tolerate wear and shade.
A rotary mower is recommended to achieve a minimum mowing height of 35mm. If this height is maintained the Oasis Lawn Blend will use less water than the average cool season varieties due to its deep rooted nature. Oasis Lawn Blend will also stay a very dark green colour requiring minimal maintenance. Fescue is slower to establish than ryegrass, so therefore allow a little extra time for establishment.
