500mm+Riverina is a yellow seeded sub clover variety producing moderate hard seed levels and large seed sizes to ensure vigour and establishment. Its resistance to root rot and clover scorch gives it a superior advantage over Trikkala, and it is equally suited to dryland or irrigated areas over a wide range of soils. Riverina performs better in autumn and winter than other varieties and offers strong drymatter production to boot.
Sowing rate:
10-20 kg/ha alone
6-10 kg/ha in a mix

Dustin sowed a mixed pasture which contained Flecha tall fescue, Arrowtas arrowleaf clover,Viper Balansa clover, Riverina and Dalkeith subclovers, lucerne and Tonic plantain. There was "green feed all year round. Plantain and lucerne in summer and clovers and Flecha tall fescue in winter". I "always have somewhere to finish lambs. I don't need to go buy grain to finish them."
