The perennial ryegrasses in the Equiturf Blend have very low endophyte levels reducing the risk of health issues to horses. It is suited to low rainfall areas (550 mm+). The blend will provide a fast establishing, highly productive pasture during the winter/spring period. Cocksfoot has been included to enable summer activity when rainfall occurs. The blend also provides the opportunity to cut high quality hay, this is not recommended in the first year.

This mix has been specifically designed to give a high level of animal performance without compromising persistence. The MAXImiser Slopes and Plains Performance Mix provides a good balance of both winter and summer active grasses and legumes to allow for good overall production all year round.
Eastern Horse Mix
The eastern horse mix is perfectly suited to the equine industry due to the grass species in this blend having exceptional tolerance to hard grazing. The combination of prairie grass, a grazing brome and an early flowering perennial ryegrass offer a strong grass based pasture with quality feed spread through autumn, winter, spring and early summer. Lucerne, sub and white clover are also included in this blend to increase the overall quality. This blend is suited to free draining soils and will not tolerate low lying areas that are wet during winter. Care must be taken during the establishment phase of this pasture, particularly with the grazing brome.

Equinewise Brome Blend
The Brome blend is perfectly suited to the equine industry due to the grass species in this blend having exceptional tolerance to hard grazing. The main component is Exceltas coloured brome which is highly productive densely tillered winter active grass. It is combined with cocksfoot which is extremely persistent once established providing a strong grass base pasture through autumn, winter and spring. Lucerne and sub clover are also included in the blend to increase the quality. This blend is suited to free draining soils and will not tolerate low lying areas that wet during winter. These varieties are slower to establish so particular care must be taken at establishment stage.

Uplands
Uplands is a fine leaved Mediterranean cocksfoot with high tiller density and a very high level of drought and cold tolerance. It is a winter active and partially summer dormant variety that persists well under grazing, producing a large bulk of high protein, high energy forage that is highly palatable.
Best adapted for sowing in low rainfall temperate areas, Uplands grows rapidly in autumn to late spring and is very tolerant of aluminium and acid soils.

Flecha
Flecha is a tall Mediterranean fescue with excellent persistence and reliable drought tolerance.
