This mix contains the following products
Shaftal Persian
Shaftal is a soft-seeded, late maturing annual clover that is best suited to hay production. It has a semi-erect growth habit and is adaptable to various soil types, with tolerance to waterlogging and mild soil salinity. Shaftal is very palatable, highly digestible, and is well suited to multiple hay cuts, grazing or silage production.
Sowing rate:
4-10 kg/ha alone
2-4 kg/ha in a mix

Crimson
A soft-seeded, versatile variety, Crimson provides an excellent forage crop with exceptional biomass and nitrogen production. It demonstrates good soil erosion control and proves effective as a weed suppressor, with a deep taproot making it suitable as a summer annual in colder regions or as a winter annual in warmer regions.
Sowing rate:
10-20 kg/ha alone
2-6 kg/ha in a mix
- 700mm+
Viper Balansa
Viper is a late season annual clover providing higher hay yields and excellent seedling vigour for successful establishment. Viper demonstrates good tolerance of waterlogging and moderate tolerance of soil salinity to ensure outstanding performance in high rainfall zones. Its excellent late spring production and mature forage quality will assist in stock finishing for higher market prices.
Sowing rate:
5-8 kg/ha alone
1-2 kg/ha in a mix
- 400mm+
Arrotas
An annual legume suited for long season growing, Arrotas is a high yielding, self-regenerating species with a deep taproot and moderate drought tolerance. Arrotas can provide high quality green feed for grazing animals late in the season, and also proves effective in producing high quality hay or silage.
Sowing rate:
