Margurita
Margurita is a hard seeded French Serradella that is early-mid flowering with an erect growth habit. Suited to long-term pasture management providing high quality herbage for grazing livestock, Margurita can be used as a special purpose fodder conservation break-crop, ideal for feed-gaps and drought periods. Its superior levels of hard seed make it better suited to variable environmental conditions as opposed to short-term production. Production can be enhanced on acidic soils with the use of lime, although French serradella does not tolerate waterlogging and is not suitable for growing on sodic soils.
